Dear Members,
On behalf of Huntington Harbour Yacht Club, we are pleased to announce a new and exciting capital campaign — “Time to Shine in 2025.”
This large-scale fundraiser is necessary to complete long overdue building improvements and deferred maintenance projects at the club.•We estimate these improvements will be costly and have a lofty goal of $160,000.
Turning 60
HHYC will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2025 and we are committed to increasing membership and improving the member experience. While we’ve been able to make some strides in these areas, we know that there is still much work to be done. This “Time to Shine” campaign will provide the funds needed to both improve the member experience and to create an iconic waterfront facility to enhance the club’s rental efforts within the Huntington Beach community. Our rentals and your support by coming to the club regularly and attending member events are what keep the club running on a daily basis. The funds raised in this capital campaign will be dedicated to HHYC capital improvements. With your support, we can make this effort successful.
It Starts With A Brick
We’re launching this campaign with our first fundraising effort, the HHYC engraved bricks fundraiser, which is set to launch this Friday, September 20th.
Pay tribute to yourself, a loved one, or family member by purchasing an engraved brick with a personal inscription that will be installed in the large round planter at the club’s main entry for members and guests to view for years to come.
Please join us for our 2024 Annual General Membership Meeting this Sunday at 2pm to learn more about it.
We are in the process of finalizing a fundraising committee to assist with additional fundraising efforts. We are committed to transparency throughout the campaign and will provide regular updates on our progress and milestones achieved.
We appreciate you, our members, and we hope you will support us in this important “Time to Shine in 2025” campaign.
Please Visit the Time To Shine page and order your Brick today.
