Ahoy HHYC Cruisers,
Just like sailing, you can’t change the direction of the wind, but you can adjust your sails.
And that’s exactly what we’ve done!
We’re excited to share an update for our 1st HHYC Cruise of 2026 — the cruising group will be venturing a bit farther north to the Los Angeles Yacht Club (LAYC). Established in 1901, LAYC is one of the oldest yacht clubs on the West Coast and offers a great opportunity to explore the Cabrillo Beach area and all it has to offer.
Slip Availability
Slips are still available for boats 43 feet or less. If you’re interested, please contact me for details.
🍽 Saturday Night Dinner at LAYC
- Time: Dinner at 6:00 PM (Bar opens at 5:00 PM)
- Cost: $55 per person (charged to your HHYC account)
Menu provided by LAYC:
- Couscous Salad
- Steak Bowl (served with hummus, romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, and tzatziki sauce)
- Vegetarian option: Falafel instead of steak
- Classic Cheesecake

- Stop by the HHYC Ship Store to pick up your 2026 Cruise T-shirt — they’re going fast!
- Dress is casual, but as guests of LAYC, please remember to wear your HHYC name tag.
